Artists were required to create a mural that depicts Salisbury's history and culture. The murals by seven local artists will be on display at the Newburyport Art Association through the weekend. Top left, Edith Heyck's mural shows Salisbury Beach about 50 years ago. Top right, Stephanie Noah's "View of Ring's Island" will be installed this spring on the rail trail connector, a part of its popular Old Eastern Marsh recreation trail.
