Scouting for food bag drop-off set for Saturday

AMESBURY — Local Scouts from Pack 4 along with Troop 4 are hoping to help families who have been hit by the tough economic climate as winter approaches.

On Saturday at 9 a.m., the Scouts will be distributing “Scouting for food” bags to residents of Amesbury.

The Scouts will then return to neighborhoods on Saturday, Nov. 10, starting at 8 a.m. to collect the bags filled with food and personal care items.

All bags will then be brought to Our Neighbors' Table in Amesbury, where they will be sorted, boxed and delivered to those in need in the community.

The Scouts are hoping residents will help them in aiding those less fortunate in Amesbury,
