Mother charged with forcing children to drink bleach

SEABROOK -- Police have issued an arrest warrant against a mother who allegedly tried to force her children to drink bleach.

Wendy Wright, 33, of 15 True Road, will be charged with two counts of first degree assault. The county prosecutor alleges that she attempted to make her 6 and 7 year old children drink bleach.

Last Tuesday evening, police and firefighters rushed to her mobile home at 15 True Road, responding to a medical emergency. The call resulted in Wendy Wright and her 6- and 7-year-old children being transported to Boston hospitals. Police and prosecutors remained mum on what prompted the emergency, until today when charges were formally filed.

Wright remains hospitalized in Boston, however her children have been released and placed in protective care.
