---- — Houle joins The Provident Bank as CFO
Dave Mansfield, CEO of The Provident Bank, has announced that Carol Houle has joined the bank as the executive vice president and chief financial officer. Houle is responsible for the financial data and reporting for the bank.
Houle, a certified public accountant, has more than 20 years in the public accounting industry and was most recently at Shatswell, MacLeod & CO., PC accounting firm as a partner in the organization conducting audits of financial institutions. Houle received her degree in business administration with a focus in accounting from Franklin Pierce College. She currently resides in Salem,N.H., with her husband and is an avid Patriots fan.
“Carol is very familiar with the nature of the banking industry and we are very excited to have her as part of our executive team. With her experience and leadership, she will play a large part in helping us be profitable and continue to grow the bank,” said Mansfield.
Killingworth joins PCI Synthesis, Inc.
Newburyport-based PCI Synthesis, Inc., a custom chemical manufacturer of new chemical entities (NCE), generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (API’s), complex pharmaceutical intermediates and other specialty products, announced that industry veteran Glenn Killingworth has joined the company as the vice president of Business Development. In his new role, Killingworth will drive business growth through the development and implementation of PCI’s sales and marketing strategy, building and leading business development teams to embrace the next generation of new opportunities for PCI in both existing and new markets worldwide.
Additionally, PCI Synthesis recently announced the completion of another successful FDA inspection and pre-approval of two products. The company now has eight active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to receive Pre-Approval/Commercial status.
