Jewett Farms launches flooring component

Jewett Farms Studio, 58 Merrimac St., will hold an open house Friday, June 24, 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to celebrate their launch of Jewett Farms Flooring. Come, see, touch, feel, experience and, of course, eat, drink, and be merry with the crew from Jewett Farms as they officially launch Jewett Farms Flooring. They are well-known for their passion for great design, as well as building some of the finest cabinetry and furniture, but they also supply some of the highest-quality and most distinctive flooring.

AJH honored for healthy hearts campaign

The New England Society for Healthcare Communications recently honored Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport for excellence in marketing, public relations and communications. The hospital won an Award of Excellence for its Healthy Heart Torch program. To help shed light on heart disease, the No. 1 killer of both men and women, Anna Jaques, The Tannery Marketplace in Newburyport and seven communities surrounding the hospital embarked on a heart disease prevention and public service campaign.
