Drouin joins Elder Services team

Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley is pleased to announce the addition of Maureen Drouin to the company. Maureen joins Elder Services as director of housing and community programs.

Before joining Elder Services, Maureen worked as a director of planning for Vinfen Corporation providing strategic planning and implementation for the organization. Also within Vinfen, Maureen held the role of director of planning for the department of mental health where she focused on supervising and supporting 14 community- based programs.

Maureen brings extensive planning, development and coordination experience to her new role at Elder Services. She will be responsible for area agency on aging activities including distribution of grant funding, development and implementation of an area plan, grant writing, community outreach and oversight of a number of different programs including Ombudsman, SHINE and nutrition services. She is also an active member of the agency's senior leadership team.

Jendrysik joins Mechanica as creative director

Ted Jendrysik, award-winning copywriter and creative director, joins Mechanica as creative director. He will work on a variety of the agency's accounts. Before joining Mechanica, Jendrysik was creative director at Arnold, and prior to that an SVP creative director at Mullen, both located in Boston.

Mechanica, a 7-year-old Newburyport-based firm, employs 20 strategists, creative directors and brand directors pioneering a new approach to creating compelling, profitable brand experiences. Current and recent Mechanica clients include: Saucony, Global Pari-Mutuel Solutions, Weight Watchers, FCHP, Communispace, Kronos, PTC, Abt and Associates, Symantec, the U.S. State Department and Irving Oil.
