iMarc named Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce 2011 business of the year

iMarc, LLC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the 2011 business of the year award from The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce.

iMarc, a leading provider of web and application development services, has been a mainstay of the downtown Newburyport professional community since it moved in 1999 from Topsfield with two employees. Since then, iMarc has expanded its downtown Inn Street location, growing to 22 full-time employees in 2011.

iMarc serves roughly 200 clients including local companies such as Strem Chemicals and international companies such as Motorola and Starwood Hotels. In 2010, iMarc was recognized by Inc Magazine for the second time as one of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the country.

iMarc strives to give back to the Newburyport community and has produced entire websites pro bono for Newburyport Pedicab, Customs House Maritime Museum, The Newburyport Public Library, ROOF Collaborative, and is currently doing strategy work in-kind for Anna Jaques Hospital. iMarc has provided financial support to many local organizations and has donated over 20 computer workstations to Newburyport public schools. Additionally, iMarc has presented seminars and talks for the Chamber and its members, participated in focus groups, and consulted to local government.

Dr. Jim Sisolak Joins Videyko Chiropractic

Dr. Jim Sisolak of Georgetown, MA has joined the team at the office of Dr. Robert Videyko in Newburyport. Dr. Sisolak received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland before continuing to Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas Texas and earning his doctor of chiropractic degree. He then spent 3 years with a Chiropractic Spinal

Rehab facility in the Dallas area before working for several years with a large practice in the Merrimack Valley area.
