Marien Joins BOND

Everett-based construction firm BOND (Bond Brothers) welcomes industry veteran and Newburyport resident Denise Marien to the company as director of client development. In her new position, Marien will be responsible for implementing a strategic business development plan for the company. Marien will work closely with the senior management team, including newly hired vice president Frank Hayes to set strategic focus and implement a business development plan to ensure BOND reaches its long-term goals. Webites win W3 Awards

iMarc, LLC is pleased to announce the W¬ has honored the EcoHealth Alliance and Petwatch Mobile websites with Silver W¬ Awards. The W¬ Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. Receiving over 3,000 entries, the W¬ Awards honors outstanding Websites, Web Marketing, Web Video, and Mobile Apps created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide.

Member mixer

The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry announced a member mixer is being held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Plum Island Coffee Roasters, 54R Merrimac St. The event will be co-hosted by Bruce Vogel of Plum Island Coffee Roasters and John P. Wells, Realtor. There will be a free overview session on how to blog on given at 4:45 p.m. Admission is $10 for members.
