Perry to join Anna Jaques Hospital
Danielle Perry has been named director of marketing and public relations for Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, effective May 30. In this role, she will be responsible for all marketing and public relations activities in support of the hospital and medical staff's strategic priorities, including showcasing clinical programs and physician practices.
Perry has more than 15 years of experience leading the communications efforts for hospitals and well-known consumer brands. Throughout her career, she has a track record of developing and implementing communications plans that increase brand awareness, corporate reputation, market share and revenue.
Perry received a Bachelor of Arts in international business from Lehigh University and a master's degree in communications from Rutgers University. She lives in North Andover with her husband and three children.
SBA Advantage Workshop May 24
The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation, in conjunction with the Small Business Association, will be hosting an SBA Advantage Workshop on Thursday, May 24, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the chamber office, 5 Market Square.
This free workshop will help participants gain a better understanding of the Small Business Administration programs and services available for prospective and current entrepreneurs in starting or expanding their businesses.

Matter Communications named a 'Best Places to Work' winner
Matter Communications, headquartered in Newburyport, has been named a 2012 Best Places to Work winner by the Boston Business Journal. This award recognizes Matter's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture.
Companies were evaluated on the results of more than 18,000 employee-satisfaction surveys. Bertolino appointed president-elect 2013

Hagan joins Keller Williams Realty
Maureen Hagan has joined the staff of professional real estate associates at Keller Williams Realty. She will be located out of the Newburyport office on Merrimac Street and also affiliated with the realty's Topsfield, Beverly and Salem locations.
Prior to joining Keller Williams Realty, Hagan worked in event marketing within the high-tech industry. One of her primary responsibilities was delivering large-scale conferences nationwide, managing contract negotiations, customer requirements and ensuring end products exceeded expectations. Hagan is a member of the North Shore Association of Realtors, Greater Newburyport Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
