Bean Group named to Inc. 5000
Bean Group, which opened an office in Newburyport in February 2011, has announced that for the second year in a row it has been named to the Inc. 500|5000, a ranking of the nation’s most entrepreneurial and fastest growing companies in America.
The company reported $12.5 million in revenue in 2011 and recently surpassed $1.6 billion in closed real estate transactions.
The company has also been recognized by REAL Trends for the fourth consecutive year and named to the 2012 Real Trends 500 list of largest brokers in the U.S. The REAL Trends 500 is an annual research report which identifies the largest and most successful residential firms in the U.S. and represents the most trusted standard of measuring the performance of the nation’s leading realty service firms.
Bean Group now has 15 locations in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Over the past 12 months, Bean Group has opened offices in Andover, Mashpee and Winchester, Mass., and Amherst, NH.
Rowley area pets go online
Sweet Paws Rescue, Rowley has joined other animal welfare organizations in the area that list their homeless pets on Petfinder.com. The site currently has over 359,000 homeless pets listed, and it is updated continuously.
More than 13,700 animal welfare organizations in the U.S., Canada, and other countries post their pets on the site. Sweet Paws Rescue pets may be viewed at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/MA470.html.
A potential adopter enters search criteria for the kind of pet he or she wants, and a list is returned that ranks the pets in proximity to the zip code entered. Adoptions are handled by the animal placement group where the pet is housed, and each group has its own policies.
Strand CEO to speak at Exhibit Source Conference
Strand Marketing announced that David Strand, CEO and Brand Director of Strand, will be a guest speaker at The Exhibit Source’s “Source Conference” on technology trends in trade show marketing on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2 p.m. The event will be held in the newly remodeled Exhibit Source Showroom, 145 Wells Ave., Newton MA.
