Beautique luxury service opens in Port

Beautique, a luxury service boutique owned and operated by young entrepreneur and native Newburyport resident Leah Lynch, has opened at 92 Pleasant St. in downtown Newburyport.

Resident beauty expert Lynch provides award-winning skill in precision in lash extension, advanced corrective skin treatments and precision brow shaping. She is a two-time, national award-winning lash artist (Novalash Lash Off 2011, 2012), her facials have won mention in “Best of Boston” (Boston Magazine 2010) and she was also featured as a “Successful Inspiring Woman in the Beauty Industry” (Salon Today Magazine 2011).

Her team includes experienced aesthetic nurse injectors performing natural and subtle enhancements using Botox, cosmetic filler and medical grade peels. Also, master stylist Tammy Silva brings 15 years of experience on Newbury Street to the salon, and Patricia Cregier, CLT and owner of North Shore Laser Center, is an experienced laser tech. Chamber mixer at 17 State Street Cafe

The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry is inviting the business community for a warm evening of networking tomorrow from 5:30 to 7:30 at 17 State Street Cafe in downtown Newburyport. Barnes joins medical staff at Anna Jaques

Dr. Angela Barnes has been appointed to the active medical staff at Anna Jaques Hospital. Barnes has joined the practice of Dr. James DiResta in Newburyport and is a member of the Whittier Independent Physician Association. She is a graduate of Kent State University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Va.
