Rachel Freedman, a graduate student at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), is to be married to Dean Jacobus, a Certified Public Accountant at J. P. Morgan Chase Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Freedman is the daughter of Mr. David Freedman and Ms. Laurie Tobey-Freedman of Needham, Massachusetts. Mr. Jacobus in the son of Mr. Richard Jacobus and Mrs. Jane Jacobus of Nashua, New Hampshire. The couple lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.
After graduating from Needham High School in 2003, Ms. Freedman attended Lawrence University in Wisconsin, earning both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Music degree in 2008. She received a Master’s of Science degree in Behavior Analysis from Simmons College in 2010, and earned her professional certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2011. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in School Psychology. Mr. Jacobus graduated from Newburyport High School in 1992. He then attended Boston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1997 and subsequently earned his Master’s of Science degree in Taxation from Suffolk University in 2009. He earned his CPA license in 2010. The wedding is planned for July 27, 2014, at the Dockside Restaurant in York, Maine.
