Two boys injured in fall after bounce house gets caught in wind

Two New York boys, ages 5 and 6, were seriously injured after the bounce house they were playing in got caught in the wind and flew into the air. The boys fell from a height of more than 15 feet, according to poststar.com.   Another girl fell when the bounce house first took flight and was treated for minor injuries.

Officials said one boy landed on a parked car, the other landed on asphalt. After the boys fell, the bounce house continued rising, reaching heights of more than 50 feet before landing in the fields behind a nearby school.

It isn't the first time children have been injured in a runaway bounce house. A 9-year-old girl was seriously injured in Arizona in 2011 when the bounce house she was playing in flew into the air and dropped her onto the roof of a neighboring house.
