SALISBURY — The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and The Animal Health Center of Salisbury veterinarians and technicians will team up on March 17 to bring pet owners vaccines and tests for cats and dogs at a reduced cost.
A representative from the town will also be present at the clinic, 59 Lafayette Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to renew dog licenses.
Services for cats and dogs will include: Rabies vaccine, $12; microchips, $15; flea/tick and heartworm preventatives (prices vary).
For cats only: Feline FVRCP vaccine distemper, $15; feline leukemia vaccine, $20.
FELV/FIV Test (Feline Leukemia/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) — $45
For dogs only: canine DHPP vaccine distemper, $15; Lyme disease vaccine, $20; kennel cough vaccine, $15; 4DX test (heartworm/Lyme/anaplasma/E.Canis), $4.
Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers. The reduced pricing is available only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 17. Call the Animal Health Center of Salisbury for information about regular pricing.
