This weekend’s “Beats, Burgers and Brews” at the 17 State Street Cafe will feature Renee & Joe tomorrow and Big Fair on Saturday.

Renee & Joe features Renee Dupuis on vocals and keys and Joe Cardoza on bass, guitar and vocals. The duo, known for folk, rock and blues, has shared the stage with Chris Isaak, Dave Mattacks and Russ Lawton.

Big Fair is a Newburyport indie band founded by high school friends Daniel Alvarez de Toledo, Jordan Dunn-Pilz and Clayton Vye. The group plays mostly original music and some well-known covers.

Both shows are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Newburyport restaurant.

Legos and more coming to Georgetown library

An assortment of Legos and model trains will be on display at the Georgetown Peabody Library on Tuesday.

The show is part of a Summer Wrap-Up Adventure for the library’s Tuesday Morning Fun program. There will also be a scavenger hunt and vehicles from town departments, including firetrucks and police cruisers.

The library is located at 2 Maple St. For more information on the Lego exhibit, contact Connolly at 978-270-7348 or patconnolly15@gmail.com. For more information about library programs, visit http://georgetownpl.org.
