Gonier hosts solo show

Newburyport artist Cara Gonier is hosting a solo exhibition, “Sky Symphonies,” at Post Road Framers in Rowley.

Gonier’s display of abstract landscapes will hang throughout the month in the shop’s art gallery. A reception with Gonier is set for Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

“Gonier deconstructs the classic landscapes of coastal New England into the essential elements of color, form and texture,” according to show organizers.“Even her smallest pieces seem to hold a world of air and space.”
