Easter Seals camp applications available
Applications are now being accepted for Easter Seals Explorers Camp, an overnight camp geared to the needs of youths ages 8 to 22 with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. Their siblings also are welcome to attend.
The camp offers traditional activities geared specifically to the campers’ needs, including nature hikes, swimming, arts and crafts, field games and campfires. Activities take place in small groups with a high staff-to-camper ratio.
Explorers Camp is moving this summer to a new location in Rindge, N.H. The camp session will be held Aug. 19-24.
Applications also are being accepted for volunteers age 16 and older who are interested in working at camp.

Blood drive May 17
A community blood drive will be held at the Hilton Senior Center, 43 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, on Friday, May 17, from 1 to 6 p.m.
Snacks, fruit juices and bottled water will be provided to donors by the American Red Cross, and free chowder will be provided to donors courtesy of Lena’s Seafood Restaurant. The drive is sponsored by the Salisbury Lions Club and Red Cross.

Community yoga classes in Amesbury
People’s Yoga Co-Op will hold the following community karma yoga sessions this month. The classes run each Friday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. They are open to the public for all levels and pay-by-donation.
