Elder Services conducting community survey

Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc. in partnership with the Council on Aging is conducting a Community Needs Assessment throughout November throughout the Merrimack Valley area.

Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc. is the local area agency on aging. In partnership with Councils on Aging and other community agencies, Elder Services provides support and care to older adults and disabled persons in response to community needs. To help better serve the community, they will be conducting a survey asking the elder community to share information about their needs.

The information will be summarized, shared with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs and used as a guide for how the agency can best to use limited state and federal resources to help those in the greatest need.

“The survey consists of questions ranging from health needs, financial positions and support solicited. With this information we will be able to properly implement assistance where it is needed,” said Maureen Drouin, community programs director.

If you are interested in survey, contact Laura Marsan at or 978-946-1303.
