New fitness method expanding into Port

Dover Yoga & Pilates founder Carrie Tyler is bringing the Rasamaya Method, which she developed, to Newburyport as the new owner of A to Z Method on Pleasant Street.

Rasamaya incorporates yoga, Pilates, structural therapy and core strengthening. The studio will continue operating under the A to Z name for now, with former owner Amanda Mulholland assisting with the transition. In addition to the studio's current strength and flexibility-building classes, influenced by Core Fusion, The Dailey Method, Pilates, yoga, orthopedic exercises and ballet barre work, Tyler will introduce the Rasamaya Method through yoga, core and structural therapy classes and a teacher training program. More classes will be added to the schedule in September.
