The Winter Members Juried Show, Part 2, opens tomorrow and runs through March 1 at the Newburyport Art Association.
The exhibit includes digital art, drawing, oil, printmaking, sculpture and watercolor. A free opening reception and awards presentation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Award winners for the show, which was juried by Mary Harding of the George Marshall Store Gallery in Maine and features 150 works, include:

The association is located at 65 Water St. and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Nonprofit’s annual oyster fundraiser
Pennies for Poverty is hosting “Bucks for Shucks,” its third annual Oyster-Fest Fundraiser, on Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Starboard Galley in Newburyport.
The event features oyster selection and shucking by Richard Rush, editor-in-chief of the Oyster Information Newsletter. Admission is a recommended donation of $10, with proceeds going toward the nonprofit’s mission of alleviating poverty in the Greater Newburyport area.
This year’s fundraiser is being held in conjunction with the Newburyport Art Association’s opening reception for its Winter Members Juried Show, Part 2.
