Fronted by Chuck Melchin, The Bean Pickers Union is a loose collective of musicians from the Boston area. The band plays bluegrass-influenced Americana and twangy rock.
Both shows are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the downtown Newburyport restaurant.
A few doors down at Loretta, the Bob Kramer Band will take the stage Saturday from 9:45 to 11:30 p.m. The rock/blues/folk trio features multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Bob Kramer, vocalist Cynthia Keefe, and bassist and vocalist Alan Foucault.
On Sunday, Parker Wheeler & Friends will welcome guitarist, vocalist and composer Murali Coryell for the weekly Blues Party at the Grog in Newburyport. They will also be joined by Coryell’s bassist, Vince Leggiere, and drummer, Dorian Randolph, along with saxophonist Amadee Castenell and special guest guitarists John Harrington and Bob Wolfman.
Upcoming performances will feature Willie J. Laws on Feb. 16 and Castenell, Tom West, Maureen Medeiros, Tony Carle, Steve Monahan and Steve Bankuti on Feb. 23.
Admission is $7, and shows run from 6 to 11 p.m. at the 13 Middle St. restaurant.

Photographs by Merrimac resident Kayte Ministeri are on display through February at the Merrimac Public Library.
Ministeri, 18, is a student at Northern Essex Community College. The exhibit focuses on the genres of candid, macro and portrait photography.
