The Peace Garden is seeking volunteer gardeners. Established on the waterfront to honor those who have lost their lives in Iraq, the garden was created by a local chapter of the national organization Women’s Action for New Directions (WAND). Volunteers work together in the garden as part of a team and receive notice of gardening times by email once or twice a month during the growing season. Gardening times are weather-dependent and usually last about two hours. Contact Joanna Hammond at 978-270-3941.
