The Lookout: Stroll through downtown on year’s last ArtWalk

(Continued)

Restaurant helping chorus raise money

The Newburyport Choral Society is raising money this month by teaming up with Not Your Average Joe’s.

Every Tuesday in October, the Market Square restaurant will donate 15 percent of proceeds from food purchases made by dine-in or takeout patrons who identify themselves as NCS supporters. You can simply let your server know or download a certificate at www.newburyportchoralsociety.org.

The fundraiser will help NCS present its winter and spring concerts.

Local photographer’s images on display

Photographs by Rowley resident Barrett S. Bacall are on display through the end of October at the Rowley Public Library.

Bacall’s diversified color images are dominated by nature, scenics and abstracts.

The library, located at 141 Main St., is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays from 2 to 8 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
