(Continued)

Be part of a ‘thrilling’ experience for charity

A local dance instructor is getting involved in a worldwide effort to break the record for the largest simultaneous dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

From Sept. 29 through Oct. 20, free clinics will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Sunday at the Agnes Strecker Dance Studio at 908 Salem St., Groveland. Everyone ages 8 and up is welcome to come and learn the “Thriller” dance.

Then, on Oct. 26, anyone who wishes to participate is invited to the Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere, where check-in starts at 4 p.m. and the dance will be performed at 5 p.m. Dressing like a zombie is encouraged.

Donations collected on the day of the event will benefit Children’s Hospital Boston and Alzheimer’s disease research.
