Shabbat services every Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

Tune in every Sunday at 7 a.m. to Radio Rabbi, featuring Avi Poupko, on local WNBP (1450 AM and 106.1 FM).

April 6, 7:45 p.m., in observance of Yom Hashoah-Holocaust Memorial Day, Anna Smulowitz will be presenting her award-winning performance, “Terezin: Children of the Holocaust.”

April 20, 9 a.m., Rebecca Black’s Bat Mitzvah

Join Rabbi Avi Poupko every Wednesday starting April 24 at 7:30 p.m. for his Adult Education series on “The Great Prophets of Israel: An In-Depth Study.” All are welcome.

Holy Redeemer Parish Mass schedule

Holy Redeemer Parish in both Merrimac and West Newbury has swapped its church service schedule.

Mass will be said at St. Ann Parish at 300 Main St. in West Newbury on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 10:15 a.m. At the Church of the Nativity, 4 Green St. in Merrimac, Mass will be said on Sundays at 8 a.m.

The 4 p.m. Mass on Saturdays switches every six weeks between the two churches.

The daily Mass schedule is Wednesdays at 9 a.m. at Church of the Nativity in Merrimac and Thursday and Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Ann in West Newbury.

Weekly sharing of healing experiences

The Christian Science Church, 22 Inn St., holds a one-hour meeting every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. specifically for sharing gratitude to God. After readings from the Scriptures and the Christian Science textbook on a topic of current interest, the meeting is then opened for the informal sharing of healing experiences. The service includes the lively singing of hymns. Everyone in the community is invited.

Women’s, men’s Bible study groups meet

St. James Episcopal Church, 120 Main St., Amesbury has a Bible study group, “The Women of Faith,” that meets every other Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Check the website for meeting dates. On Saturday Morning, join the Men’s Group for enlightening conversation and readings of the Bible. The Men’s Group meets on Saturdays at 9 a.m. Both Bible Study groups are open to the public.
