The Lookout: Dance event to benefit Wounded Warrior Project


The library, located at 86 W. Main St., is open Mondays and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Psychic medium to visit Salisbury Beach

“The Bean Town Medium” will visit Seaglass Restaurant in Salisbury on Wednesday.

Ruth Larkin, a psychic, reiki master and holistic healer, will give readings to attendees from 7 to 9 p.m. A cash bar will be available starting at 6:30.

Tickets are $30 and available at or at the door. The restaurant is located at 4 Oceanfront North.

Learn about the region’s stone walls

A discussion on “Discovering New England Stone Walls” will be held Tuesday night at the Georgetown Peabody Library.

Kevin Gardner, author of “The Granite Kiss,” will talk about the history, significance, styles and construction of these unique structures.

He will also build a miniature wall or walls on a tabletop, using tiny stones from a 5-gallon bucket. A question-and-answer period will follow.

The free event will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the meeting room at the library, 2 Maple St.

Jazz on tap at Ten Center

Wednesday’s “Jazz at Ten Center” presents Rusty Scott on piano, Keala Kaumeheiwa on bass and Phil McGowan on drums.
