This weekend’s “Beats, Burgers and Brews” at the 17 State Street Cafe will feature Joe Young Live tomorrow and Paddy Mills on Saturday.
Singer and guitarist Young plays music ranging from standard pop-folk to soul-searching ballads to rambling Americana.
Mills is a Maine-based folk singer and winner of the 2013 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriting Contest.
Both shows are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Newburyport restaurant.

Wednesday’s “Jazz at Ten Center” presents Rusty Scott on piano, Keala Kaumeheiwa on bass and Phil McGowan on drums.
