Tickets for Saturday concerts are $25 for patio seating, which includes tables and chairs, and $20 for lawn seating (bring your own chairs and blankets). Sunday concerts cost $12 general admission. Children 12 and under are admitted free to all shows.

To buy tickets online or for more information, visit www.maudslayartscenter.org. Tickets are also available at 978-499-0050 and at the gate.

Maudslay Arts Center is located at 95 Curzon Mill Road, Newburyport. In the case of rain, concerts will move inside to the MAC Concert Barn.

Workshop to help aspiring photographers

Dragonfly Photography is offering a workshop for all ages on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Designed for beginners, the class can be tailored to more experienced photographers and will help participants develop and use their skills.

The cost is $79 for both nights. To reserve a spot, call 978-857-6730 or email dragonflyshots1@gmail.com.

The workshop will be held at 31 Green St., Newburyport.

Entertainment and food at 17 State St.

This weekend’s “Beats, Burgers and Brews” at the 17 State Street Cafe will feature the Chuck Walker Jazz Quartet tomorrow and David Corson on Saturday.

The jazz quartet explores everything from swing to blues to funk and jazz.

Corson is a seasoned, veteran performer who has been compared to Ray Lamontagne, Ed Sheeran and Matt Nathanson.

Both shows are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Newburyport restaurant.
