A local team of athletes is holding its second annual Tour de Cure yard sale tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 20 Oakland St., Newburyport.
The members of Seacoast Synergy are riding in the American Diabetes Association’s North Shore Tour de Cure on Sunday, May 18, in Topsfield.
Last year’s yard sale raised more than $7,000 for the American Diabetes Association’s efforts to stop diabetes. In addition to the sale, there will also be raffles, silent auctions, and complimentary coffee and baked goods.

Local dentists offer free care for seniors
Free dental care will be offered to senior citizens at three local dentistry practices tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hosted by Dr. Robin Davies of Parker River Dental, “Giving Back to the Community Day” will also include Drs. David Reczek and Brendon Chiou of Newburyport Family Dental and Dr. Shradha Sharma of Georgetown Family Dentistry.
Davies began the “Giving Back” program in 2011 and provides free dental services twice a year at her office at 3 Kent Way, Byfield, to seniors who have no dental insurance or cannot afford dental care.
Reczek, Chiou and staff will provide free dental service at 1 Inn St., Newburyport, and Sharma and staff will provide free dental service at 37 E. Main St., Georgetown. Each practice will offer an oral exam, cleaning, digital X-rays and more.
