Admission is $25, and the show will be followed by a reception with Lord and Tee.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, the group will wrap up the month with the Jackie Poor Memorial Walk at 10:30 a.m. at Michael’s Harborside. The walk honors Poor, the late sister of one of the organizers, and other women struggling with ovarian cancer.
Individuals or teams may participate in the 3-mile walk through downtown Newburyport. Registration costs $20 online at www.ovationsforthecure.org or $25 on the day of the event.
Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths in women, with more than 21,000 diagnosed in the U.S. each year.
Community yoga classes in Amesbury
The following community karma yoga classes will be offered this month at the People’s Yoga Co-Op in Amesbury on a pay-by-donation basis. All classes are drop-in and held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at 14 Cedar St.
Tonight, Core & Abs Yoga with Paula Wilson; Sept. 20, Mindful Movements with Marie Zappala-Stewart; and Sept. 27, Curious Yogi Workshop with Jennifer Freeman.
A pay-by-donation Yoga by the River class will also take place every Sunday in September from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the Merrimack River in Amesbury.

Blood drives in local communities
Locals have three opportunities to give blood in the region over the next few days. Drives are scheduled from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the Hilton Senior Center, 43 Lafayette Road, Salisbury; 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Church, 29 Main St., Seabrook; and 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Newburyport Elks Lodge, 25 Low St.
Individuals who are 17 years old (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
In September, all presenting donors will receive a voucher good for discounts at Monro Muffler/Brake & Service. Donors will also have the chance to win two Red Sox tickets and to be honored at Fenway Park as the Blood Donor of the Game.
