Fall fair roundup

Saturday, Nov. 23

Merrimac: Annual Holiday Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Pilgrim Church, 27 Church St. Children’s games and crafts, cookie walk, country store, handmade quilts, jewelry, holiday decor, luncheon, and silent auction. New this year is a breakfast menu with pancakes, eggs and sausage.

Merrimac: Holy Redeemer Parish Holiday Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nativity Parish Hall, 4 Green St. Gift baskets, baked goods, candies, nearly new items, jewelry, hostess gifts and handmade goods. Children’s crafts, gift bags and games. Silent auction and raffle prizes. Lunch with homemade soups, chowders, baked beans and franks, chop suey, salad and rolls from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Rowley: Olde Tyme Country Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., First Congregational Church of Rowley, 175 Main St. Baked goods, handcrafted items, holiday greenery, attic treasures, apple pies, Zeke’s Country Store, silent auction, home-style lunch, visit from Santa, games, puzzles and books. Spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m.

Salisbury: Harvest Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., East Parish United Methodist Church, 8 Lafayette Road. Baked goods, white elephant treasures, snack bar and lunch menu. 978-465-8940.

Newburyport: Christmas Bazaar, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Old South First Presbyterian Church, 29 Federal St. Corn chowder luncheon, baked goods, cookie walk, handmade craft items, a visit from Santa Claus, crafts for children and giveaways. 978-465-3642 or 978-270-6603.

NEwburyport: Greek Fall Festival, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Nicholson Hall, 7 Harris St. Vendor and artisan fair and Greek pastry sale. Lunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Menu includes spanakopita, gyros, moussaka, avgolemono soup and stuffed grape leaves. Sponsored by the Greek Ladies Aid Society.

Friday, Dec. 6

Newburyport: Artisans in the Open Holiday Show, 3 to 9 p.m., First Religious Society, 26 Pleasant St. Jewelry, pottery, fiber arts, photography, glasswork, paintings, woodwork, stone sculpture, soaps and lotions, and painted furniture.
