Boston String Quartet plays at Belleville

The Boston String Quartet will return to Newburyport later this holiday season with their new seasonal program, “Christmas in Paris.”

The musicians will bring French carols, new stories, and multimedia tools as they take the audience through the City of Lights on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. Belleville Church is located at 300 High St., Newburyport.

The quartet will explore Paris through music from a mix of hit movies, music from Edith Piaf, and traditional French carols. Video images of beloved landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre will accompany the music.

The Boston String Quartet is one of only a few string ensembles that writes all original music and arrangements.

Tickets are $20. Children and teens under age 18 are free to attend.
