Holiday Craft fairs

Holy Redeemer Parish Holiday Fair

The Holy Redeemer Parish Holiday Fair (West Newbury/Merrimac) will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nativity Parish Hall on Green Street in Merrimac. Tables featuring baked goods, candy and fudge, homemade, knit and crocheted items, gift baskets, linens, jewelry and more will be available. There will be gift bags, crafts and games for the kids. A Cake Walk, a game similar to musical chairs with a chance to win a free cake, will begin at 10 a.m., and be held every 20 minutes until 2 p.m. Lunch featuring homemade soups, chowders, baked beans, chop suey, salad and rolls will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A silent auction and raffle are also planned.

Women's Fellowship fall craft fair

The Women's Fellowship at Old South Church in Newburyport is hosting a Fall Craft Fair Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, 29 Federal St. The church is handicapped-accessible from the Beck Street parking lot.

Artisans in the Open 12th annual fair

Artisans in the Open's 12th annual Holiday Fair is set for Friday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the First Religious Society, Unitarian Universalist, 26 Pleasant St., Newburyport. The fair will feature pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings, fiber arts, woodwork, sculpture, bird houses, blow glass and other handmade works by New England craftsmen. A percentage of sales will benefit the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society based in Salisbury. Call 978-465-2985 or 603-978-4841.

Rowley's Pine Grove crafts fair in Rowley

The 37th annual holiday crafts fair will take place Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pine Grove School, Route 1A in Rowley. More than 150 professional craftsmen from New England will exhibit, demonstrate and sell their crafts. Sponsored by the Rowley PTO, the event will feature no nut products. Admission is free. The blizzard date is Sunday, Dec. 6.

Laurel Grange holiday fair

Laurel Grange #161 is holding a holiday fair on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grange Hall, 21 Garden St., West Newbury. There will be a bake sale table, live music, Christmas wreaths and other handmade items. Crafters interested in renting a table should call Jackie Carter at 978-352-2986 or e-mail midnight721@verizon.net. Table rentals are $20. The grange will also be collecting coats for the Pettengill House winter coat drive at the fair.
