(Continued)

Kids Night Out at YWCA tonight

The Greater Newburyport YWCA is once again offering Kids Night Out sessions.

The program, which will be held tonight and the third Friday of each month, is for kids in grades 1 to 3. Their evening at the YWCA will include pizza, music, activities, pool time and a movie.

All children should bring a bathing suit and towel. Parents can also send their kids with pajamas to change into after swimming.

The sessions will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each month. Registration is required. Visit the YWCA’s membership desk at 13 Market Street. The program is open to the public.

Bereavement Group meets in Amesbury

The Amesbury Council on Aging and Beacon Hospice are jointly hosting a bereavement group on Thursday evenings at 5:30 at the Amesbury Senior Center, 68 Elm St.

Healing from Loss is for individuals dealing with the loss of a loved one. It is through the process of sharing in a confidential environment that healing is fostered.

Registration is required. Call Lu Bonanno, Beacon Hospice, at 978-837-3333 for additional information and to register. The group is free.
