Poet earns Frost Foundation Prize
NEWBURY -- Local writer Alfred Nicol has been named the winner of the Frost Foundation Prize, a prestigious award for poets. Nicol, of Newbury, is a member of the local Powow River Poets. He was honored for a poem titled "Mid-November Guest House."
