West Newbury library plans events for kids this week

WEST NEWBURY — A host of fun activities are on tap at the GAR Memorial Library during school vacation this week.

Today, children of all ages are welcome to attend a Rainforest Reptile program from 11 to 11:55 a.m. Junior Lego Club for ages 5- to 7-year-olds meets from 4 to 5 p.m. also today. Registration is required.

Tomorrow, a drop-in toddler time with Miss Kate will run from 10:30 to 11 a.m. tudents in grades 1-4 are invited to Make A Bird Feeder with Joann Healey on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Registration is required. A drop-in story hour with Miss Kate for 3- to 6-year-olds is planned for 4 to 5 p.m., also on Thursday.

These programs are funded by the Friends of the West Newbury Library.
