Police Logs

NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Newbury police:

Ryan P. Fortier, 35, 150 Old Pickard Road, Salisbury, was arrested Thursday at 7:44 p.m. and charged with driving after license suspension (subsequent offense). Officer Michael Balsley and Mark Smigielski made the arrest on Scotland Road.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Amesbury police:

William Winsor, 36, 11 Felton St., Saugus, was arrested Thursday at 7:21 p.m. on a warrant. Officers Kevin Mulrenin, Steven Reed and Denis Champagne made the arrest on High Street.

Aleshia Gonzalez, 31, 96 Auburn St., Lawrence, was arrested Thursday at 7:32 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by asportation (second offense) and giving a false name to police. Sgt. Jeffrey Worthen and officers Champagne and Reed made the arrest on Macy Street.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the West Newbury police:

John Hughes, 56, 8 Walnut Farm Road, West Newbury, was arrested Thursday at 5:37 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Officers Barry Coker and Eric Forni made the arrest on Crane Neck Street.

A juvenile was arrested yesterday at 9:14 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime and on a warrant. Officers Gary Wright and Craig Bailey made the arrest on Pleasant Valley Road.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Salisbury police:

Ben Wydola, 19, 7 Newton Junction Road, Kingston, N.H., was issued a summons Thursday at 4:33 p.m. on charges of driving without a license and a stop-sign violation. Officer Steven Sfroza issued the summons on Rabbit Road.

Scott Doucette, 48, 22 Atlantic Avenue, Salisbury, was arrested Thursday at 7:41 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and cruelty to animals. Officers Eugene Scione, Sforza and Bruce Dow made the arrest on Atlantic Avenue.

David Humphrey, 49, 124 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, was arrested Thursday at 10:13 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to use caution when backing up. Officer Scione made the arrest on Broadway.

A juvenile was arrested Thursday at 10:26 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime. Officers Scione, Dow, Craig Lesage and Keith Forget made the arrest on Pleasant Street.
