Seabrook Candidates' Night set for Feb. 23

SEABROOK — Local residents have a chance to see and hear those running for town and school district office at this year's Candidates' Night on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.

The event takes place in the selectmen's meeting room at Town Hall and is broadcast live over the town's cable access channel. The format offers candidates a chance to introduce themselves to the public and speak to the reasons they're seeking elected office. Candidates are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m., but since space is very limited in the room, it is recommended residents watch the proceeding on television.

All candidates are invited to attend.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 13, voters go to the polls at Seabrook Community Center.

Those running for town offices include:

Selectman: (1 seat) Maria Brown, Edward Hess Jr., Robie Beckman Jr., Paul Knowles

Planning Board: (2) Roger Frazee, Max Abramson

Budget Committee: (1) Dianna Demars

Trustee of the Trust Fund: (1) Carrie Fowler
