---- — Rabies Vaccination and Microchipping Clinic Saturday

The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, in conjunction with the Town of Salisbury’s animal control office, will be holding a rabies vaccination and microchipping clinic for cats and dogs on Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to noon on the Catmobile parked in the parking lot of Tom’s Discount Store, 175 Elm St. The cost of the rabies vaccine will be $5 and the cost to microchip will be $20, which includes registration. Bring proof of any previous rabies vaccines in order to get a three-year rabies vaccination. All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be on leashes. Ham and bean supper with selectman candidate

Paula Moore, a candidate for the Board of Selectmen, will hold a ham and bean fundraiser on Saturday, March 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the the Hilton Senior Center between the Department of Public Works and Fire Department at 43 Lafayette Road in Salisbury. The cost is $5 per person. The event will feature a ham and bean supper with potato salad, rolls and butter and nonalcoholic beverages plus free raffles.
