Monday is deadline for full-day kindergarten

Parents in the Triton Regional School District hoping to enroll their children in full-day, tuition-based kindergarten this September have until Monday to file an application.

Full-day kindergarten is available at Salisbury Elementary, Newbury Elementary and Pine Grove schools. Tuition is $2,950 for the coming year.

Any applications received after the April 1 deadline will be placed on a waiting list.

Application packets for the full-day kindergarten program are available at Salisbury Elementary School. Applications can also be found online at Triton web page, at www.trsd.net.

For kindergarten information, click on “New to District” in the left-hand menu, then choose “kindergarten” and then “kindergarten enrollment forms.”

Although the school district’s full-day program is tuition-based, financial assistance is available for households with qualifying incomes.

In addition to the full-time, tuition-based kindergarten, the district offers either morning or afternoon, half-day kindergarten program that are tuition-free.
