Historic renovation projects sought for Preservation Awards

Newburyport Preservation Week 2013: Women and Preservation will be held Wednesday, May 8, through Sunday, May 12.

Presented in partnership with Historic New England and the Custom House Maritime Museum, the seven-day celebration for all ages will include a walking tour celebrating historic Newburyport women, presentations and discussions on use of herbs in healing, women at sea and the role of women in creating and preserving wealth, culture and sophistication throughout Newburyport’s history.
