NRA meeting is canceled

NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Redevelopment Authority has canceled its regular meeting that had been scheduled for tonight. Members say the next meeting will be April 24 at the public library.

The NRA owns 4.2 acres of riverfront property and is making plans to utilize the property.

It recently voted to extend a contract to an engineering company to do test borings on its land to learn more about what kind of development might be appropriate.
