The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Michael A. Jones, 42, 29 Hillcrest Ave., Beverly, was arrested Sunday at 12:33 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), fail to stop for police and a wrong way/one way violation. Sgt. Stephen Chaisson and officers Dani Michalek and Gregory Whitney made the arrest on Summer Street.

James Glidden, 63, 10 Boxford Road, Rowley, was arrested Sunday at 7:38 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on ambulance personnel, assault and battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct. Officers Charles Ferlauto, Christopher McDonald, Shawn Eaton and Sgt. William Steeves made the arrest at Anna Jaques Hospital, Highland Avenue.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Andrael A. Ball, 30, 6 Coombs Circle, Newburyport, was arrested Saturday at 12:55 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), marked lanes, failure to inspect and speeding. Officer Craig Lesage made the arrest on Macy Street.

Lawrence E. Dodge, 58, 15 Cedar St., No. 29, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 7:50 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officer Jonathan Morrill and Detective David Pare made the arrest on Cedar Street.

Matthew D. Hood, 24, 2 Lake Shore Drive, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 5:33 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Officers Lesage, Jason Kooken, Raymond Landry and Steven Reed made the arrest on Lake Shore Drive.

Sheila Mullaly, 42, 922 Greenland Road, Portsmouth, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 5:33 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger. Officers Charles Sciacca and Ronald Guilmette made the arrest on Main Street.

Richard G. Thomas, 56, 164 Whitehall Road, B4A27, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 10:56 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers Reed and Lesage made the arrest on Whitehall Road.

Shirley M. Maysonet, 23, 25 Durham St., Lawrence, was arrested Sunday at 1:31 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes. Officers Reed and Sciacca made the arrest on Interstate 495 south.

Daniel Murphy, 25, 100 Marston St., No. 2, Lawrence, was arrested Sunday at 4:43 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), leaving scene of personal injury and operating to endanger. Officers David Clark, Sciacca and Guilmette made the arrest on Pleasant Valley Road.

Tyler Tripodi, 21, 19 Moran Road, Billerica, was issued a summons Sunday at 11:16 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Officers Guilmette and Lesage issued the summons on Macy Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Jonathan C. Harrison, 22, 12 Glenwood Ave., Salisbury, was arrested Saturday at 12:16 a.m. and charged with possession of a class A substance. Officers Neil Moody, Richard Dellaria, James Pollard and Keith Forget made the arrest at the Knotty Pine Motel, Beach Road.

Jonathan Roy, 18, 25 High St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 11:04 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers Michael Alder and Bruce Dow made the arrest at the Salisbury police station.

Demitris Scroggins, 23, 369 Blue Hill Ave., Dorchester, was arrested Sunday at 12:10 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery. Officers Brian Smith, Craig Goodrich, James Leavitt and Michael Tullercash made the arrest at the Lafayette Inn, Lafayette Road. At the same time police issued summonses against Maura M. Moreno, 23, 104 Centennial Drive, Seabrook, and Jennifer Desai, 41, 110 Lafayette Road, No. 10, Salisbury. Moreno was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Desai was charged with assault and battery.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Sarah M. Galt, 28, 132 Bowden St., No. 310, Lowell, was arrested Friday at 9:03 a.m. and charged with theft by unauthorized taking. Officer Michael Cawley made the arrest at the Liberty Lane police station.

Keila Kristal Papadopoulos, 25, 340 Lafatette Road, No. 317, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 5:59 p.m. and charged with conduct after an accident. Officer Ryan Kane made the arrest at the Liberty Lane police station.

NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the Newbury police log:

John T. Driscoll, 64, 6 Patriots Landing, Essex, was arrested Sunday at 12:27 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and marked lanes. Officer John Lucey III made the arrest on Elm Street.

Matthew J. Robidoux, 21, 19 Harding Ave., Newburyport, was issued a summons Sunday at 10:39 a.m. on a charge of leaving scene after property damage. Officer Michael Croteau issued the summons following an incident on Boston Road.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the Groveland police log:

Peter Byron, 22, 83 Woodrow Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 6:26 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes. Officer Michael Traister made the arrest on School Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Mercedes Jade Nelson, 22, 8 Pierce Ave., Beverly, was issued a summons Saturday at 2:10 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and a lights violation. Trooper Sullivan issued the summons in Topsfield.

Miguel G. Cua, 20, 9 Saratoga St., East Boston, was arrested Saturday at 4:26 p.m. and charged with two previous warrants, person under 21 in possession of alcohol, an equipment violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, attaching plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Trooper Topping made the arrest in Newbury.

Shane E. Leonard, 20, 1 Dexter St., Methuen, was arrested Saturday at 11:10 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Trooper Cormier made the arrest in Salisbury.

Richard S. Walker, 24, 23 Bradford St., North Andover, was arrested Sunday at 1:56 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Trooper Cormier made the arrest in Merrimac.
