St. Paul’s Church Annual Fall Fair and Silent Auction

St. Paul’s Church, 166 High St., Newburyport, will hold its annual Fall Fair and Silent Auction on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The fair will begin at 9 a.m. and runs to 2 p.m. It will include baked goods, books, boutique, Christmas and Holiday Room, crafts, clothing, children’s clothing, jewelry, linens, raffle, treasure chest and more.

Bidding for the silent auction begins at 9 a.m. and goes to 2:30 p.m. The auction offers many quality items generously donated by local merchants and others, including gift certificates, furniture, antique items, jewelry, fine collectibles, goods and services.

Breakfast will be available from 7:30 to 9 a.. with lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is St Paul’s largest fundraiser of the year and benefits the church’s many projects.

Activities at Merrimacport UMC

Christianity and World Religions study on Monday at 7 p.m. and on first, third and fifth Mondays through Dec. 3 at the Merrimac United Methodist Church. Through this DVD-based study by Adam Hamilton, the major world religions will be discussed: Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity. Newcomers welcome.

Merrimacport Youth Superbowl: Youth stay up all night beginning Friday, Nov. 16, through Saturday morning. The group will be leaving from Merrimac and attending the event in Providence, R.I. The evening begins with a hockey game, followed by Christian speaker and games on the ice until midnight. Then groups go to different venues through morning such as bowling, roller skating and climbing. All youths in grades 6 to 12 welcome. Newcomers welcome.

Kids Live Big children’s ministry tomorrow at 11 a.m. during worship. Children learn about and experience God’s love through games, media, crafts and discussion. All children pre-K through sixth grade are welcome.
