Weekly exercise programs: In partnership with the Georgetown Housing Authority, the Council on Aging offers weekly exercise programs in the community room at Trestle Way. Yoga classes meet Mondays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and strength training classes meet Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 10:45 a.m. A donation of $3 is suggested per class. An indoor walking program continues Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Penn Brook School. Call the Council on Aging at 978-352-5726 for more.
Mailing list updates: The Council on Aging is updating its newsletter mailing list to comply with new U.S. postal service regulations. As a result, some addresses have been eliminated from the list. Anyone who is no longer receiving the newsletter who would like to get back on the mailing list should call the Council on Aging at 978-352-5726 to update their contact information.
