Flu vaccine clinic Nov. 8

WEST NEWBURY — A flu vaccine clinic will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the first-floor hearing room of the 1910 Town Office Building, 381 Main St.

The clinic was originally scheduled for the Town Annex, 379 Main St., but health officials decided to move it because a Special Town Meeting was rescheduled for 7 p.m. that same night in the Annex. The town meeting was postponed from Monday night due to the hurricane.

The Health Department reports there are limited state-supplied vaccines left. Should there be any vaccine remaining after the clinic, officials said it may be possible for people to call for an appointment to get a flu shot.

For more information, call the Council on Aging at 978-363-1104 or the Health Department at 978-363-1100, ext. 118.
