The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Jonathan P. Newton, 40, no fixed address, was arrested Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and charged with shoplifting. Officers Shawn Eaton and Charles Ferlauto made the arrest at CVS Pharmacy, Pond Street.

John Skinner, 52, 3 11th St., Newbury, was arrested Monday at 1:36 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). Officers John Schmidt and Megan Muldowney made the arrest on Ashland Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

David M. Dow, 31, 51A Worthey Ave., Seabrook, was issued a summons Friday at 4:27 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with license/right to drive suspended. Officers Thomas Nichols and Jonathan Morrill issued the summons on Macy Street.

Timothy LeClair, 22, 1 Depot Road, East Kingston, N.H.; and Corey T. Bilodeau, 18, 14 Lincoln Court, Amesbury; were arrested Friday at 9:32 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Officers David Noyes, Michael Purvis and Kevin Mulrenin made the arrests at Richdale on Friend Street.

Andrew J. Beaton, 24, 45 Ferry Road, Salisbury, was issued a summons Friday at 11:46 a.m. on charges of an equipment violation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Officer Noyes issued the summons on Main Street.

Peter Waterman, 39, 22 Beacon St,. Amesbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 6:52 p.m. on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officer Nichols issued the summons on Merrimac Street.

Natalia Aliza Silva, 26, 1 Arlington St., No. 13, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 7:50 p.m. and charged with possession of a class A substance and license not in possession. Officers Nichols, Noyes and Mulrenin made the arrest on Route 150.

Blaine R. Smith, 48, 3 Whitewood Circle, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 10:06 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and assault and battery. Officers Carl Lesage and Mulrenin made the arrest on Chapman Way.

Vickie Dills, 46, 6 Columbine Road, Worcester, was arrested Sunday at 11:38 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and child endangerment while OUI. Officers David Noyes, Michael Purvis, Kevin Mulrenin and Sgt. Glenn Chaput made the arrest on Interstate 495 southbound exit way ramp to Route 110.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Tracey A. Connell, 58, 56 Sparhawk St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Friday at 9:26 p.m. on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Officer Christopher Thurlow issued the summons on Elm Street.

Corey Speechley, 49, 83 Brown Ave., Hampton, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 7:49 p.m. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and attaching plates. Officers Patrick Szymkowski, Brian Smith and Luis Valdez made the arrest on Collins Street.

Nicholas W. Goodwin, 29, 40B Washington Park, No. 5, Andover, was arrested Sunday at 12:04 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a one-way violation. Officer Richard Dellaria made the arrest on Broadway.

Julian C. Chapelle, 26, 3 Royal Crest Drive, No. 9, North Andover, was arrested Monday at 1:01 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), motorist refusing to ID self to police, resisting arrest, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, a one-way violation and marked lanes. Officers Dellaria made the arrest on Beach Road.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Zachary Thomas Souther, 20, M Street, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 6:52 p.m. and charged with disobeying a police officer, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, resisting arrest, motor vehicle inspection violations and possession of drugs inside a motor vehicle. Officers Ryan Kane, Joseph Lister, Keith Dietenhofer and Sgt. David Buccheri made the arrest on Marshview Circle following a motor vehicle pursuit.

Jeremy Christian Polanco, 21, 5 High St., No. 4, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 11:29 p.m. and charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs, possession of drugs inside a motor vehicle and control devices violations. Officers Dietenhofer, Kane and Buccheri made the arrest on Route 107.

Raymond Fowler, 41, 14 Washington St., was arrested Sunday at 1:22 p.m. and charged with simple assault. Officers David Hersey and Justin Murphy made the arrest on Washington Street.

James Robert Savilonis, 35, 117 Cedar St., Manchester, Conn., was arrested Sunday at 6:36 p.m. and charged with two counts of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Officers Kane and Dietenhofer made the arrest at the Windjammer Apartments.

Eric S. Baczewski, 30, 10 Evergreen Road, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Sunday at 8:34 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officer Dietenhofer made the arrest at the Liberty Lane police station.

WEST NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the West Newbury police log:

Duane Clark, 37, 1 Coltin Drive, Newburyport, was arrested Thursday at 2:47 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle after suspension (subsequent offense) and defective equipment. Officer Danielle Burrill made the arrest on Main Street.

Laurence Hawkins, 36, of 68 Main St., No. 5, Byfield, was arrested Saturday at 5:39 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license to being an habitual traffic offender (11th offense). At the same time, Nichole Hawkins, 33, same address, was issued a summons on a charge of allowing unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officers Barry Coker and Eric Forni made the arrest on Spring Hill Road.

ROWLEY

The following items were recorded in the Rowley police log:

Stephanie M. Hatch, 22, 93 Marshall St., Nashua, N.H., was issued a summons Tuesday, April 23, at 11:46 p.m. on a charge of allowing uninsured operation of a motor vehicle. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

Neil Ripley, 18, 2 Farley Ave., Ipswich, was issued a summons Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID card and five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

Daniel W. McHugh, 67, 653 Main St., Rowley, was issued a summons Wednesday at 6:02 p.m. on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID card and improper storage of a firearm (two counts). At the same time, a 16-year-old juvenile and Christopher Martineau, 18, 115 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, were issued summonses on charges of malicious destruction of property less than $250 and possession of an infernal machine. The summonses were issued following an incident at the Main Street address.

According to police, the teens allegedly placed fireworks inside a mailbox at the property and blew it up. As police searched the house during their investigation, they discovered an unsecured shotgun prompting charges against the homeowner, McHugh.

John T. O’Leary III, 49, 3 Long Hill Road, Rowley, was issued a summons Friday at 10:36 a.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. The summons was issued on Daniels Road.

Scot David Hopps, 34, 28 Charles Drive, Greenland, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 2:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

Daniel McHugh, 67, 653 Main St., Rowley, was issued a summons Saturday at 12:26 p.m. on a charge of attaching plates unlawfully. The summons was issued on Route 1.

Scott Paley McNeff, 27, 87 Pembroke Road, Providence, R.I., was issued a summons Sunday at 1:49 a.m. on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating after revocation or suspension. The summons was issued on Route 1.

Andrew Stewart White, 24, 10 Cape View Road, Ipswich, was arrested Sunday at 1:21 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. The arrest was made on Main Street.

GROVELAND

The following items were recorded in the Groveland police log:

Derek J. Bonia, 28, 63 Washington St., Groveland, was issued a summons Saturday at 4:45 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after license suspension. Officers Eric Ryan and Gregory Pekarski issued the summons on Harvard Street.

Michael A. Holden, 46, 18 Evergreen Lane, Groveland, was arrested Sunday at 1:14 a.m. and charged with assault and battery of a household member, threatening to commit a crime and intimidation of a witness. Officers David Shanahan and Daniel Ramirez made the arrest on Evergreen Lane.

Michael A. Ciampa, 48, 46 Kensington Ave., Haverhill, was issued a summons Sunday at 11:05 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license. Officer Eric Gorski issued the summons on Salem Street.

Cande l. Valenzi, 52, 83 Brown St., No. 2, Methuen, was issued a summons Monday at 12:45 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle after license suspension and defective equipment. Officers Neil Moody and Heather Riley issued the summons on Salem Street.
