Daniel W. McHugh, 67, 653 Main St., Rowley, was issued a summons Wednesday at 6:02 p.m. on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID card and improper storage of a firearm (two counts). At the same time, a 16-year-old juvenile and Christopher Martineau, 18, 115 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, were issued summonses on charges of malicious destruction of property less than $250 and possession of an infernal machine. The summonses were issued following an incident at the Main Street address.
According to police, the teens allegedly placed fireworks inside a mailbox at the property and blew it up. As police searched the house during their investigation, they discovered an unsecured shotgun prompting charges against the homeowner, McHugh.
John T. O’Leary III, 49, 3 Long Hill Road, Rowley, was issued a summons Friday at 10:36 a.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. The summons was issued on Daniels Road.
Scot David Hopps, 34, 28 Charles Drive, Greenland, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 2:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

Scott Paley McNeff, 27, 87 Pembroke Road, Providence, R.I., was issued a summons Sunday at 1:49 a.m. on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating after revocation or suspension. The summons was issued on Route 1.
Andrew Stewart White, 24, 10 Cape View Road, Ipswich, was arrested Sunday at 1:21 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. The arrest was made on Main Street.
