FILM CLUB @ NPL: Tomorrow, the Film Club @ NPL will be showing the documentary film, "Bill Cunningham New York," with a discussion to follow. For decades this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion for the New York Times both at street level and at high-society soirees. Come for the film at 6 p.m., the discussion at 7:45 or for both. This free event will take place in the Program Room. All are welcome.

UPCYCLED PRINTING FOR ALL AGES: Newburyport artisan Pam Farren shares her creativity for this printing workshop on Saturday, April 21, at 1 p.m. Learn to make one-of-a-kind prints using recycled plastic foam trays, paper and ink. This free program will be held in the Children's Activity Room, and all materials are provided.

SHIPWRECKS OF NEW ENGLAND: On Wednesday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m., presenter Bruce Bateman will show slides and tell stories of sail and steam ships wrecked off the coast of New England. He will also talk about the activity of German U-boats along our shores during World War II and the 1939 sinking of the submarine Squalus. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

WEDNESDAYS @ NPL: The Newburyport Public Library offers free Movie Matinees every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Library Program Room.
