NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trial was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 8, with Judge Allen Swan presiding:

Lawrence J. Sturdivant, 51, 191 State Road, No. 2, Kittery, Maine; assault and battery, pretrial probation for six months conditioned upon completing 48 hours of community service and no abuse of family members (Newbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trial was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Thursday, Jan. 9, with Judge Patricia Dowling:

Stephen Gaudreau, 61, 158 Merrimac St., Apt. 3, Newburyport; possession of false/stolen Registry of Motor Vehicle documents, continued without finding and probation for three months, $90 Victim-Witness Fund; vehicle not meeting safety standards, responsible, filed (Newburyport).
